The yolk will become solid, and be lumpy when it is stirred. The white of the egg gets watery like, not the gelatinous texture of a fresh one. Eggs that are frozen are safe to eat. We only freeze clean eggs that don’t need to be washed. when thawed, they may leak in the shell, so remove them from the carton and thaw in a bowl. I have found that adding about 1-2 tsp water then whipping the frozen eggs helps with the yolk to break up and be fine for frying, baking etc.
